Overview

Walsh Grain Farms Inc. is a family owned and operated grain handling business located 4.5 miles east of Mauston, Wisconsin, on Highway 12 and 16. Founded in 1980 by John E. Walsh Sr. and later incorporated in February 1985, the company has grown to feature a storage capacity of 2,500,000 bushels of corn and soybeans.

The operation is managed by a dedicated team of family members: John Walsh Jr. serves as the Grain Manager, focusing on providing local farmers with the best prices in the area, while his son-in-law, Seth Laehn, assists with operations at the grain plant. The office and bookkeeping are handled by Office Manager Judy Neve and her sister, Jane Walsh, while James Walsh serves as the Shop Manager, ensuring the fleet of 20 tractor-semis and all necessary equipment remain in top shape. Together, this team and their fleet support area farmers by efficiently transporting grain directly from the fields to their facility.
